Formula fragmentation — 5 tools, 4 different cost-per-sqft assumptions ($90–$250/sqft), producing wildly different outputs for identical inputs. Users who use two tools see contradictory numbers.
Impact: Trust destruction. Users who notice contradiction lose confidence in QuiPlans.
No conversion path from any calculator — CTAs exist but none are tracked. No A/B testing possible. No funnel attribution from estimate → $99 report → permit-ready plans.
Impact: Calculators are free value giveaways with no revenue capture. Estimated $0 direct attribution.
No state-specific accuracy — The RoiDefaults entity exists but is sparsely populated. AduCostCalculator and OBBudget both use flat national multipliers. Users in CA see the same estimate as users in Mississippi.
Impact: CA users see estimates that are 40–60% too low. Leads to sticker shock at contractor bids, refund requests, and lost trust.
No confidence scoring — No tool tells the user how reliable the estimate is based on available data. A user with a ZIP code, ADU type, and finish level gets the same confidence indicator as a user with no data.
Impact: Users cannot distinguish a rough guess from an actionable estimate. Reduces urgency to get professional feasibility.
Dashboard budget tool (OBBudgetPlanner) is not persisted — Estimates are calculated in-session only. Users cannot return, update, or compare contractor bids against their estimate.
Impact: Zero long-term value delivery. No reason to return to dashboard. No budget tracking during project management.
