Digital products are non-refundable after download or digital delivery has occurred, except where required by law or if you do not receive the product purchased. Before delivery, cancellation may be permitted according to the applicable checkout terms. If you experience a technical issue with your download, contact us within 7 days and we will re-send your files at no charge.
Your Engineer Review is a professional assessment of your property and proposed project. Cancellation: You may cancel for a full refund before professional review work begins. After work begins: The fee is non-refundable except where required by applicable law. After completion: The fee is fully earned regardless of whether the review determines your project is feasible — the purchased service is the professional determination itself, not a predetermined outcome. Credit: If you purchase a qualifying Complete Permit Package within 90 days of delivery, the $349 fee is applied as a credit toward that package.
PE-Stamped Plans may be cancelled for a full refund before professional design or engineering work begins. Once professional work begins, amounts attributable to work already performed may become earned as described in your agreement. Once signed/sealed plans are delivered, the service is non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where QuiPlans has failed to provide the contracted deliverable.
A 50% deposit is due at kickoff, with the remaining balance split into two equal installments (25% on Day 15 and 25% on Day 30) per the payment schedule shown at checkout. If you cancel within 48 hours of payment and before kickoff begins, a full refund of the deposit is available. The deposit is non-refundable after kickoff. Permit Success Guarantee: For projects expressly approved as eligible through our Engineer Review, QuiPlans guarantees the project will reach permit issuance within 12 months of the Guarantee Start Date (the date we have received all required customer information, documents, signatures, initial payments, and third-party materials and confirm the project is ready for active permit preparation), excluding periods of delay caused by circumstances identified in the Guarantee Terms below. The Guarantee Period is paused for delays caused by the customer (including not paying governmental permit fees or not approving plans QuiPlans proposes), governmental processing outside our control, required third parties, material project changes, or matters outside the Complete Permit Package scope. The guarantee applies only to the project design, size, placement, and assumptions specifically identified as eligible in your written Engineer Review. If the principal building permit is not issued within the applicable Guarantee Period, subject to the Guarantee Terms, we refund all qualifying Complete Permit Package payments you made — even if work has already been performed. The $349 Engineer Review is a separate professional service and is not refundable under this guarantee; separately authorized third-party services, governmental fees, and change orders are also excluded.
The 25% deposit is non-refundable after project kickoff. A full refund is available within 48 hours of payment if kickoff has not commenced. Milestone payments for completed work are non-refundable. If we are unable to continue services due to factors within our control, we will refund payments for uncompleted milestones.
Quig Credits purchased directly are non-refundable. Credits earned through referrals or bonuses expire after 12 months of account inactivity. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
The Permit Success Guarantee applies only to Complete Permit Package projects expressly approved as eligible in writing through the Engineer Review. The short-form claim on our checkout and marketing pages is qualified in full by these terms.
Guarantee Start Date: The date on which QuiPlans has received all required customer information, documents, signatures, initial payments, and third-party materials necessary to begin the covered permit work and confirms the project is ready for active permit preparation.
Guarantee Period & Tolling: 12 months from the Guarantee Start Date. The Guarantee Period is paused for any period during which permit progress is delayed by the customer, governmental processing outside QuiPlans' control, required third parties (surveyors, geotechnical, septic, well, utility, fire, HOA, environmental, title/easement), owner-requested scope or design changes, discretionary land-use approvals, variances, appeals, moratoria, government shutdowns, AHJ holds unrelated to our documents, or force-majeure events.
Eligibility: The guarantee applies only to the project design, approximate size, placement, use, and material project assumptions specifically identified as eligible in your written Engineer Review or subsequently approved in writing by QuiPlans.
Material Project Change: A different ADU model, increased square footage, relocation on the property, detached↔attached, an additional story, a change of occupancy/use, a major structural-system change, or the addition of previously excluded site work. Material changes may require re-evaluation of eligibility; QuiPlans will notify the customer in writing before any such change affects the guarantee.
Permit Issuance: Issuance by the applicable Authority Having Jurisdiction of the principal building permit authorizing construction of the covered project, subject only to payment of ordinary governmental issuance fees or completion of ministerial issuance steps controlled by the property owner.
Refund Amount: If the guarantee is validly triggered, QuiPlans refunds all amounts actually paid by the customer to QuiPlans for the covered Complete Permit Package — even if work has already been performed. The separately purchased Engineer Review, separately authorized third-party services, governmental fees, and change orders are excluded.
Customer Cooperation: The guarantee remains effective while the customer reasonably cooperates — providing accurate property information and requested documents, responding within a reasonable period, signing applications, authorizing filings, paying governmental fees, obtaining owner-controlled approvals, making timely decisions, avoiding unapproved material scope changes, and providing reasonable property access when required.
Third-Party Work: If the AHJ identifies additional third-party work not reasonably identifiable during the Engineer Review, required third-party services do not by themselves constitute failure of the guarantee, provided QuiPlans continues the covered permit work after the required information is supplied.
Existing customers remain governed by the refund and guarantee terms applicable to their original purchase. Policy changes apply prospectively.
Engineering plans and permit-ready documents are prepared for permit submission by our licensed engineering partners. Approval is subject to local jurisdiction review and is not guaranteed. Local building departments have the authority to require revisions, additional studies, or modifications beyond what is included in your package. We will provide one round of plan-check revisions as described in your package. Additional revisions may be quoted separately.
The Permit Success Guarantee relates to the covered permitting outcome only. It does not guarantee construction cost, construction schedule, contractor performance, financing availability, property value, rental income, investment return, or construction outcomes.
